Love Dr Farhat. He has taken care of me both post melanoma diagnosis 10 years ago and later when I needed iron transfusions for anemia. Great bedside manner. Always kind, professional and a good listener.

This doctor has lied to us, along with his staff. He said that the 1st line chemo worked and then we found out from the radiation doctor that there was an "uptick" in the cancer. The first day of 2nd line chemo we were told that the records got lost in the move, but we had been to this facility several times before we were lost. Then when confronted with this information we were told that the doctor did not know how to update the chemo meds in the system, of course this happened after we were there for hours and then told- no chemo today. The next day received a call from the insurance company advocate and they had no information on this 2nd round chemo meds and they have not answered the phone call from our insurance company regarding approval of the blood thinner needed after 3 stints were put in. Before any of this, they told us not to worry about the swelling: just lay down, that should help. What type of oncologist and staff lie and show no sign of compassion or caring. When you… watch a loved one fight for a few more months and break down in tears knowing it is a losing battle it breaks your heart and then you have an uncaring facility that won't even return a phone call. The person who is supposed to be working on the chemo session refuses to answer my calls. I have been calling every 30 minutes, I guess she is NEVER at her desk, maybe that is why we can't get the treatment needed. Now the big question, do we search for a new oncologist, chose not to do the 2nd line treatment and hope for the best, or is it even our choice at this time as no one will contact us. I suggest that anyone looking for an Oncologist, find one that thinks of the patient first. Cancer is scary and this office doesn't see anything from the patients view.
