He does not care if you are having problems. Lap band worked great for 3-4 years then it stopped. No longer gave me the full feeling and I started to gain weight. Per x ray no slippage of band. He didn't show any concern nor offered solutions. I am now up 40 # from lowest weight and climbing....soooo sad

I had my procedure in 2011 and I am now 122 lbs lighter from 281. When I came in to see Dr G , I had severe sleep Apnea, on the cusp of becoming type 2 diabetic. Not to mention I had no clothes that fit me properly. I am originally from Wisconsin and I could not find any place that would do the surgery for less than 30k. The procedure in Michigan was about 1/3 the cost of what it cost in Wisconsin. So I went forward with it. Out of all the surgeons I had met in with, he was the only one that took the time to genuinely explain the pros and cons of the Lapband. The lap and is a tool not a magic procedure that makes you skinny. Most folks that blame the doctor for their failures, should really blame themselves. After all the pain of surgery they still refuse to follow the very specific rules. I travel to see this doctor every three months and although I may wait a bit he gives me as much attention as I need. I once did complain about his previous staff, all of which were imposed on… him by the university. He has since fired and hired very nice employees. Another thing to know this doctor is not full of Ego nor traditional. He is just Dr. G and he saved my life!

you better off with another Dr. than this money oreinted Dr. his office admin, is an MWay rep. for Jesus sake, what kind of a Dr. let an Mway promotion at his office, I do agree that after surgery you hardly get any attention, the staff even tell to go see the Dr's that works with him, one of which is a stupid Enas Joseph. Please please think twice, I did the surgery and I have Sorrow and regret, you better off with the new WW program, and stay away of he complication of suregy and those business oriented MDs.

The new office staff may be more helpful then the old staff but it's because it's his relatives and friends. It's not uncommon to wait for him to arrive, then you wait anywhere from 1-3 hrs to see him. Felt like I knew more about the Lap Band than he Did, so it doesn't matter that he has one, he couldn't even diagnosis a Band Slip after Multiple tests. He seems to be caring at first but If you have a problem with your lap band you'd be better off finding a new Surgeon because he won't listen .

You will wait and hr even if your the first patient of the day, he doesn't come in on time. the staff makes excuses that he's not in the office when you call, even for an emergency appointment they tell you to just go to the ER.. he's OFF for weeks at a time doing what ? who knows. They can't wait to give you a Lap band but forget about any AFTERCARE Will be looking for a new Dr for my Bariatric care

My husband, sisters, mother , and I have been patients of dr .G since 2000. Completely devoted to his work as well as his patience, ive never heard anyone who was dissatisfied w their surgery reaults. My only complaint is how far he is located but its worth the drive!

I really really really cannot recommend this doctor to anyone.

he is a great doctor i spent 2 years checking a waiting im glad i did i think i got the best at the lapband

Dr Gazayerli is a very caring knowledgable Doctor. I have had him for a lapband proceedure and my husband has had him for other laproscopic surgery. I would recommend him to anyone because of his caring and "no rush" attitude.
