Dr. Mohamed Ziyad Kattih, MD

I had a very disappointing experience at Haven Orthopedics and Spine Institute with Dr. Kattih. I was referred to this clinic by my case manager after completing my MRIs, with the expectation that I would receive a proper evaluation, a clear diagnosis, and a comprehensive treatment plan—particularly including physical therapy for my back and knee pain. Instead, I drove nearly two hours and waited an additional hour, only to have a very brief and unproductive visit. The doctor did not perform a meaningful physical examination of my lower back or knee. Rather than discussing a structured treatment plan, I was simply given a paper recommending injections, with no explanation of alternatives or inclusion of physical therapy—despite that being the primary reason for my referral. The interaction itself was also uncomfortable. At one point, when I asked for clarification about the purpose of my visit, the doctor raised his voice, which I found unprofessional. The overall appointment felt… rushed and dismissive, more like a formality than an actual medical evaluation. Given that this visit could have easily been handled remotely (as the outcome was just a generic recommendation), it was frustrating to spend significant time traveling for what felt like a minimal effort consultation. I was also asked to complete paperwork that appeared primarily related to billing, which added to my concern about the purpose of the visit. Overall, I left without the guidance or treatment plan I was expecting, and with little confidence in the care provided. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone seeking thorough evaluation or a patient-centered approach to pain management.

I have been followed by Dr Kattih for over 6 years during that time I need back injections (trigger ponts and facets) on 4 separate occasions. He is caring and very accommodating. The responses to the injections arr within an hour and last for 3-6 months depends on how do I abuse my back

Horibbbllleeeeee Doctor!!!!!!! Watch out for his very disrespectful, very rude and treats his patients like trash!!!! If I can give him zero stars I would!! I would stay away from him! My husband went in for a back epidural and without even reading his chart he was about to give him a neck epidural until I had to stop him in the middle of the procedure in his office!! He’s clueless and doesn’t know what he is doing, I wouldn’t trust him!!!
