Dr. Mohamed Abdel H Khalaf, MD

I was a patient of Dr. Mohamed Abdel H. Khalaf 11 years ago. I was one of his gynecological patients. I got pregnant by my husband. The office never took my blood pressure during my visits, they never weighed me during my visits and they never brought in a chart for me during my visits. Before my one week visits were supposed to start the doctor left the country. I ended up becoming Eclamptic and almost died. I had to be taken by ambulance to Medina hospital and flown by mercy flight to childrens where they had to do an emergency C-section to take the baby at 29 weeks to stop the seizures. I was then taken by ambulance for respiratory failure to Millard Fillmore ICU. The baby stayed in the NICU at childrens for 2 and a 1/2 months and I still have not heard from Dr. Khalaf 11 years later. I have been diagnosed with absence seizures due to his neglegence in not diagnosing my Pre-eclampsia during my pregnancy.

This Dr did numerous surgeries on me for the same problem. On the last surgery, I was put to sleep and they woke me up to apologize because the Dr just left! They had to put me back to sleep hours later when he decided to come back.

I was a patient of Dr. Khalif's for about two years, and in that time I can honestly say I left every visit either angry or uncomfortable. He demanded that I have an appointment every FOUR MONTHS ($$$), and I would wait 30min-over and hour for him to arrive for everyone of those visits. With deliveries and running two offices, I can understand running late; however, when I was being told to be there every 4 months, it would be frustrating to wait an hour for a ten minute appointment. If I had even the most simple of questions, I couldn't just call the office, I was required to make an appointment for ANY question/concern. The receptionists were constantly sending information to my insurance company incorrectly, therefore each appointment included a rude lecture from Khalif about my bill. He would make uncomfortable comments about my weight and his bedside manner was a bit too "touchy-feely" for my comfort zone. I was highly dissatisfied with this practice and would strongly suggest to… not see Dr. Khalif.

Horrible dr

Very sweet and carring obgyn. experince in prenatal pregnancys and post dilivery follow up. I recomend him to all my family and friends. I am planning to have another baby soon and i am taking prenatal vitramins as perscreibed by dr khalaf. I cant wait to start follow up with dr. khalaf, Wish me good luck.
