Not a long wait at all and very nice doctor and the help he has are wonderful. treated me with respect and care.

After reading online horror stories,I was hesitant about having an injection put into my spine and told the nurse practitioner this on my consultation visit. She assured me that they are true professionals and had never had any problems doing spinal injections. Arriving for my appointment I was told that Dr. Kortu was running twenty minutes late and the anesthesiologist was one hour late. The receptionist then called me up to to the desk to ask if I was willing to do the procedure without anesthesia due to the fact that the anesthesiologist was running so much later than the doctor. I agreed. Due this fact I was able to completely feel what was taking place during my procedure. After he bent the first needle trying to inject me, he got another and with the injection of this one I felt severe pain in an area I had not had pain before. I immediately told him this and his response was "Oh" and I was done. Three days later, I started getting severe pain in that same area that I had never… had the pain before my shot. The 9th day I called the office and they explained to me that sometimes it takes 10 days for the medicine to kick in. It did not work and left me far worse then I was before going to Dr. Kortu. I have since visited my PCP and he stated after doing a test on my leg that his belief is that I have irreputable nerve damage from the needle piercing a nerve and I should not go for my next scheduled spinal procedure for fear of further damage. I called Dr. Kortu's office to cancel my appointment I was asked if I wanted to reschedule. I informed them no, and that I was much worse off and the response I got was "ok, then ...good bye, did not care at all or offer to have anyone call and talk to or check on me. Part of the Hippocratic oath states something to the effect of: I will remember that I am treating a sick individual whose illness may affect the persons family and economic stability. My responsibility includes these related problems, if I am to care adequately for the sick. In my case I do not feel that this was fulfilled. I was completely brushed aside when I had a problem left to suffer in excruciating pain so severe that both my work life and family life have been affected. My advise is stay away!

I absolutely love Dr. Kortu and his entire staff . they treat me with respect and are truly concerned about me on a personal level . i would refer them to anyone with a pain issue

The doctor and assistant doctor both took a lot of time with me at each appointment. Made me feel like they genuinely cared and I was not being rushed out of the room so another patient could get in. Makes the 20 min wait more bearable when you know they are doing that with others too. :)

Dr. Kourtu was extremely friendly and very generous with his time. He went out of his way to meet us when it was convenient and spent a very long time with us. He immediately recognized the problems and addressed them. He provided great pain relief without prescribing narcotics, which was all the primary care would do. Would highly recommend him!

Dr Kourtu is the nicest doctor I've ever had. I wish he could be my regular doc. He treats me very good, takes his time with me, & actually asks my input on ideas for treatments. He is honest & Has a great bedside manner. I don't feel like just another patient. The rest of his staff is great also. No complaints at all.

my husband died . he had a "" back injection "" he could barely walk in this nuts office, and when he did get in there he was ridiculed about the meds he was on this was a wed. and guess what ? i had to wake up and find my husband of 20 years passed away. the finding was that he threw a blood clot that he told the dr about but it was dismissed bc he was more worried about what meds my husband was taking , i wouldnt reccomend him ( drkillertou) to take care of a dam rat !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
