Always quick to get me in and not waste my time sitting in the waiting room.

I thought all was great since no insurance and needed 3 tests to do to check heart.I was referred by Primary doctor and got in next day stArted tests and the only thing bill was incorrect and I'm now having to get that fixed as no insurance and hard to pay thousands on tests.

Dr. Shalaby saved my life, he is by far the best doctor I have ever seen.

At first glance this practice seems like it is a great place to receive care but after a few visits I noticed this office is lacking in quite a few areas. Firstly, I thought it was awesome I was able to get a new patient appointment the same day I called but I waited over an hour just to be called into a room & then waited another 30 minutes in the exam room which is absolutely ridiculous, I would have rather waited to go on a day that wasn't so overbooked. The waiting room was so full I had no chair to sit in & when I asked if the doctor was behind or if I'd be waiting awhile I was told no which was clearly a lie. What is even more upsetting, the doctor was in such a rush because he was so busy & behind that he only spent 10 minutes with me & seemed as if he wasn't even listening to what I had to say. Secondly, the doctor scheduled me for 5 different tests which seemed odd considering My EKG was normal & I ended up paying almost $400 out of pocket. To me it seemed like he is out to… make money, not really in it for the concern of his patients. Thirdly, some of the office staff is very friendly and seem knowledgable but when I called the office with a question about insurance I spoke with the office manager Courtney and she was not only very rude & irritable, she acted as if she had no idea what she was talking about. It's a bit unsettling to have my health in the hands of a doctor who would employee such an incompetent and rude person and even worse that she's the head of his office. Overall I recommend everyone to FIND A NEW CARDIOLOGIST unless you want to do a lot of unnecessary testing and deal with an imbecile of an office manager if you have questions.

My mother was Dr.Shalaby's patient for a little while. His bedside manor is nice, but his practice and employees are sub par. Most offices you visit at least have a Registered Nurse on staff, this office has no Nurse whatsoever. His practice is made up of front office staff and a few Medical Assistants and from what I understand "trainees" called externs. A medical assistant does not have the training to answer most medical questions. This is a bit unsettling. You would think a physician would care enough about his patients to employee an actual nurse! I definitely had my mother switch cardiologists!

I was very impressed with Dr Shalaby and his staff.
