I love Dr Al however I received a phone call that Dr Al is out of the office for my next appointment that is scheduled. And he is leaving this practice so with that office losing 2 Dr's they refuse to schedule an appointment with their other doctors because they just don't have enough physician to absorb all the patients that will end up with no Dr. Therefore I should try using my primary care Dr. I am on a special program for my migraine medication so how is the fight to get it covered for the next year going to work especially since I feel this will make it look like my neurologist is no longer needed. This is such a strange way to handle patients. And it makes me nervous.

Dr. Alsharbati treated me in 2015 for myasthenia gravis at UAB before he moved to Iowa. Very knowledgeable, intelligent, compassionate and understanding. His treatment and expertise kept me going. He is the best there is.

I saw Dr. Alsharabati a few times. He’s quiet but made me feel comfortable. He listened to my concerns and was honest about what he thought and was happy to do additional testing for my piece of mind.

After 3 attempts to get an opinion and results of a barium swallow test he had prescribed I was discouraged. Finally got a copy of results from a speech therapist.

My husband has been to 3 other Neurologist with very pour and less than thorough results. Dr. Alsharabati was excellent!!! He is very thorough, takes time to fully examine patient and discuss issues. Is very clear about explaining, testing and how long things will take. He let us know that he was going to look in every nook and cranny to find a cause and solution. Most pleased with this Doctor, a rarity these days.

Dr. Alsharabati has been instrumental in helping me live with my Myasthenia Gravis. He provides excellent feedback about my health and he genuinely cares. He is a great listener. .
