Dr. Mohammad Raza Anees, MD

I’m not sure why these patients gave Dr Anees such a low score. Maybe because he wants every detail and wants to make sure you are communicating. My first impression...was that he was kinda gruff..hahaha...when he was trying to get my history. He takes his work very seriously. I met him in the hospital and after our initial visit, I was scheduled for an EGD at 7am the next morning. In the morning, they kept pushing back my procedure. Found out when I got to pre-op that he had been working on an emergency patient all night and had to get a little sleep before proceeding with me and his other patients. He walked in to pre-op with a warm smile and personality and it continued until they wheeled me back to my room. He met with me before, during of course, and after the procedure. I thanked him for getting some rest...which I thought of course, the right thing to do. I asked him if he was rested...when he first approached me in pre-op and at the time wasn’t thinking of my well being but… his...so there was a little back and forth as to who was worried about who..lol. I’m in need of a GI but not sure if he actually works in my area. He is a great Dr and great guy! Don’t be put off by the initial visit...he’s trying to get answers to help you! Thanks Dr Anees!
