Dr. Mohammad Akhtar Choudhary, MD

Dr Ghoudhary is an excellent doctor.He takes time with you and does test on you to prove what you have.

I haven't seen him in a couple of yrs yet I take my client to see him and he remembered me. I have referred him to a couple of my friends and clients they have been totally pleased with him. He is a good man and he saved my life. He got to the problem not to mention he saw me fro at least a year and didn't charge me a dime. So, to all you haters, he may not have been the Dr. for you but he was the one for me. As far as his office goes yes it left a lot to be desired but when I was there a month or so ago. There had been remarkable improvements. So, as former patient of his I will still keep referring people to him. Dr. Chaudhary rocks

This man knows nothing about Fibromyalgia patients, and his office is filthy.

I want in with an MRI i had done back in May(it's dec., now)and he did not even look at it till i had left the room and he gave me my persc.,(i was there for migrains) And while hitting my joints with that little rubber hamer,he want for my ankle that still hurts awfull bad and was wraped up,i asked him please don't hit it and he did any way,the pain in it was a lot worse the rest of the day could not even go see my granddaughters resitle.Then he asked me about a med., i told him i had toke it befor and it had not helped,but he persc., it any way.Well i am going to find some one eles even if i have to go to Columbia.

Positives: This Dr. has some of the nicest office staff I know. They were helpful and nice.Negatives: Dr. ordered unnecessary tests that were not pertinent to my diagnosis. Dr. did physical harm to me as a result of said tests resulting in my leg incurring a burn. Dr. was practicing sleep medicine and was not certified to do so.

I found the doctor to be a very nice person..however I am not going there to just for that...he does not seem to have much interest getting to the root of the problem..(I have given him numerous years..do to he's the only one around) but then he all of a sudden decides to do this one test..one he does himself no doubt.. and when they go to schedule it I see there is four or five sheets of this same test being done on people..I cancelled and when they rescheduled several months later there was once again several pages of patients getting this done. i found thid odd as did my regular doctor and again cancelled..I did not at all feel things were right and had also known two others that had him do this and they both had awful experiences. After having cancelled he then all of a sudden would not refill my scripts (which he's had me on for years)..I'm sorry but that is not right! I feel very much he was just out to bill insurances.I will not go back again.

I think he's a nice doctor. I don't mind that he has an accent. I don't think he's really difficult to understand. He is nice and really gentle and patient with me. Sometimes there is a waiting time but it doesn't bother me because I'm used to waiting for other types of doctors. I think he works hard to take care of a lot of people. I go to his smaller satellite office and he has his own office there which is better than a big office with too many people. I like that he's a neurologist and a psychiatrist.

Dr. Choudhary may be a competent doctor, however he is extremely hard to understand and seems to have a hard time understading you as well. He doesn't listen quite as well as I would like my doctor to. I am choosing to drive quite a few hours away rather than to see him again. If my doctor and I can't understand each other, it just doesn't work.
