My friend had suffered with chronic liver from cirrhosis and she was a recovering heroin addict and had not been abusing drugs for many years but this doctor would not treat her for her pain. He discriminated against her and till the day she died, she did so in suffering and pain due to his lack of empathy and care for her. She was tormented by the fact that she felt he was the only doctor who could oversee her care and treatment and she basically told me that she had to live with the fact that her doctor would never treat her for her pain. At the point in time when he gave her 3 weeks or less to live, he made no attempt whatsoever to treat her pain and suffering, and told her that she could have a Tylenol every once in a while. No palliative care-no hospice. Just die. That to me, was nothing short of inhumane. He took her past indiscretions and used it against her — even on her own death bed. I would never bring my own self or family member to him for care. He is not the doctor for… the job. Ruthless and not your advocate. He should be ashamed of himself. I don’t even want to give him a 1 Star. Wish I could rate him a zero star. Don’t waste your time and money on this joker.
