Dr. Mohammad Frotan

Dr Amin Frotan is simply the best surgeon and doctor I've ever met. He pulled me through five surgeries to rebuild my forearm and hand when other doctors said amputate. My arm is intact, working well and the end of treatment is in sight. Dr Frotan is kind, thoughtful, always with a plan, with me every step of the way, and, we hit off. There was never any doubt that he could accomplish all that he did. He and his team provide prompt and aggressive care. All are excellent at what they do. Anyone needing a critical care surgeon or a general surgeon, Dr Frotan is the one to care for you. He is beyond extremely capable.

Dr. Frotan was kind and patient with my overall concerns post-surgery. He gave me wise ideas for dealing with various options for care.

Dr Frotan personally called his colleague to refer me for an outpatient procedure . He was great!

Dr. Frotan was professional, attentive , explaining everything he was going to do & very kind. He texted me after I left the office with recommendations & that if I had problems to text him. He went above & beyond in his care & concern for me.

Dr. Frotan and his partner, Dr. Cooper, literally saved my life! And then as an extra bonus, he used a technique commonly used for burn patients and saved my leg. He treated me in the hospital for 3 months. Even after I was released, he jumped in & cared for me on my subsequent 2 ER visits, even though he isn't an ER doctor. I know I am incredibly fortunate he was/is my doctor. Yes, he can be a little short sometimes & can hurt your feelings if you're easily hurt by things people say. 90% of the hospital nurses are afraid of him - because he's a perfectionist. But they also all said he's the best surgeon in that hospital - and also probably in Dallas! Dr. Frotan is a no-nonsense, very gifted surgeon who really cares a lot about his patients! Plus his incredible staff are all caring, helpful, smart & extremely compassionate, too.

I had a horrible side by side accident & my arm was Literally gone, hanging on by my forearm skin, My ligaments, tendons & muscle were completely gone as well as my bone snapped. He made sure to do everything in his power to make sure I have some normality left, even tho I'm only a month out I've already had 4 surgeries & can see a tremendous difference. Wouldn't choose anyone else to be my surgeon for anything else, he's to the point and doesn't beat around the bush which I love because I want to know EVERYTHING. Dr Frotan is definitely an amazing Dr! Dallas is lucky to have him.
