Hello, my father was operated on by Dr. Gharavi to remove a small portion of his lung due to a slow growing tumor. Prior to the surgery, my 75 year old father was in excellent health and the tumor was found incidental to a yearly chest X-ray. Dr removed a much larger portion of his lung than anticipated....”just to be safe”. Well, one thing lead to another and a couple days after surgery all went downhill. Dr. Gharavi never personally talked t me after the surgery and referred my dad to another specialist. After then days in the hospital, my father died. No calls or explanations from Gharavi as to what exactly happened. Never stirred my phone calls either. I would never let anyone close to me come near his horrible doctor. Lack of empathy, compassion and surgical skill.

My husband went in for a heart angiogram and found 3 blockages (60-70%). Our Cardiologist asked Dr. Gharavi to review the results while we were still at the hospital. Dr. Gharavi came and provided very detailed explanations along with our Cardiologist. Dr. Gharavi stated he would make surgery time the next day if my husband elected. We did and grateful for Dr. G as he found 4 major blockages. My husband is recovering in the hospital as I type. I thank God for bringing such excellent physicians into our lives.
