Dr. Mohammad Islam Hussain, MD

I've been with Dr. Hussain since 2002. He does everything he possibly can to treat me and all of my issues. Him and staff at Jefferson City are awesome. Always nice and polite at every visit and I go monthly for appts. Dr. Hussain ALWAYS treats me with respect, and he has a sense of humor. Talks with me about each test I've had done, goes over any/All medications and he and staff/nurses have always worked with me about being able to afford my medications. I wouldn't see another Neurologist. He's the best.

Dr. Hussain listens and does anything he can for his patients.

My husband has seizures and we was referred to his office.I wish we never went.the staff is absolutely horrible and very rude.the woman who answers phones told me that my husband would have to wait 4dqys until he could get a refill on his seizure medicine.I told her he can't go that long without his medicine and she told me "well he'll have to until Monday".they act like its a bother for them to help you and they are above you....GO TO ANOTHER NEUROLOGIST IF YOU CAN. Do not go to this office unless you want your feeling hurt..horrible horrible experience

I had an irregular MRI, so he sent me for a spinal tap and tests done, and was told if I didn't have MS he couldn't help me. Literally.

i was referred to Dr. Hussain by a friend. I got put on the schedule to see him almost immediately. the wait time was a little long but was totally ok bc it was a little close to lunch the staff is very helpful i didnt have to call around to find the results of any of my tests. i have been with him for all my test i recommend him to anyone

I'm wondering why they refuse checks as payment for visits? They either take cash or money order. This is a red flag to me, and strikes me as odd. To me, this signals that they are maybe charging too much, and if a patient pays by check, it can be refunded if challenged. Either that, or they are charging way more than any insurance company is willing to pay?The wait time is MONTHS for an appointment, and then, when you finally get there, they tell you that they don't TAKE CHECKS!!! AAAARGH!!
