Dr. Mohammad Ilyas, MD, FAAP

Mohammad Ilyas, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatric nephrologist with more than 25 years of experience providing specialized kidney care for children. He completed a fellowship in pediatric nephrology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, where he also completed residency training in pediatrics at The Brooklyn Hospital Center affiliated with New York University in Brooklyn, New York. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. Most recently, Dr. Ilyas served as a clinical associate professor in the Division of Pediatric Nephrology at the University of Florida in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Ilyas has extensive experience in managing complex pediatric kidney conditions and has contributed to medical education through decades of teaching and clinical mentorship.
Dr. Mohammad Ilyas believes in a holistic approach to patient care that addresses the wellbeing of the whole person including body, mind, and …spirit. He works closely with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to develop compassionate, individualized care plans.
