Dr. Mohammad Imani, DPM

Good doctor. Doesn't sugar coat anything. I have always got good care from him. I would recommend him to everyone.

I came to him with because of 3 blisters on my feet but had 6 after seeing him, after giving me a shoe to wear it cause a new blister on my pinky toe which is common with me because any new shoe does but after seeing it he began to cut on it & using Santyl which started eating away my skin & turning it black, so now I am probably going to lose my 4th toe as it’s rotten also he is very rude & has the bedside matter of a rattlesnake , he does seem to enjoy his job or people in general.

He sit me in a room and I waited for over my appointment time and then he came in for 2 seconds called me a liar and then left he shouldn't be a doctor with his attitude

Dr. Imani is an incredible Dr. and person. Extremely knowledgeable and tremendous compassion for patients. Very thourough and great at explaining issues. I have seen him on 3 separate occasions and he diagnosed my issues and got me on a treatment plan to take care of issues. Friendly office staff. THE BEST!! Charleston is fortunate to have Dr. Imani in our city.

We took my mother for treatment of blisters and ulcers on her feet and ankles. Imani (he does not deserve the title of doctor) prodded one ulcer with a metal tool causing her to scream in pain. Then before any of us could react (not that we would EVER expect it) he prodded the open sore again!! Then he asked if it hurt! There had been no application of any numbing agent or other medicine before he scraped her sore with the metal prod. Imani took no time to explain options, did not explain what was happening or what might have caused the problem. Instead he put bandages on both her lower legs and feet which were extremely tight and gave instructions to return in 10 days. No numbing medicine was ever used, even after he used the metal torture device. As we left my mother asked about medicine to numb the sites. The staff apparently interpreted that as a request for pain medicine and immediately became rude and unresponsive. We left and I went to CVS to buy over the counter… numbing creams and antibiotic creams. After several days, it became apparent that circulation had been nearly completely cut off by the bandages which were far too tight, so we took her to her primary care physician who cut off the bandages. He took one look and sent us immediately to the hospital. It has since been determined that Imani's “treatment” caused significant additional damage and made her situation far worse. Imani's torture has also made her recovery take at least 3 times longer than initially expected. Had we waited to return to Imani as instructed, she likely would have lost a foot due to the circulation nearly being completely cut off by his “bandaging” of her wounds. This man should not be called a doctor. He should not have a medical license. He made a bad situation much worse while failing to discuss anything with his patient or her family. He acted put upon to have to treat my mother and made it apparent that he did not want to be doing so, and did not care about her well being. That is borne out by the additional damage he did with the improper bandaging. I don't use the word BUTCHER often in a medical setting, and have never done so in a review, but it certainly applies here. He treated my mother not as a person, but as a piece of meat that could not feel, was not worthy of explanations, conversation, or even a diagnosis or prognosis. His obvious indifference to the fact that he was causing her extreme pain was abhorrent and I would recommend everyone stay as far away from this ill mannered butcher as possible.

I see these previous reviews and Im doubtful they are true. I went to this dr after seeing 2 others and he was able to fix my foot when the others didnt have a clue. His staff treated me with respect and didnt belittle me because of my medicaid like the others. He took time with me and I feel like I finally have the answers I needed. He is a God send to me.

i have my toes are twisted. all he could do was give me pain shots. i was not in pain at all. wanted to go to old foot doctor, but can't i find. not yellow pages, or internet he was not interested in taking care of my foot. going to find a another foot doc.
