Dr. Mohammad M Iqbal, MD

Very surprised this guy is still in business. Every month he would see me for 5-10 minutes. He asked if I was happy then would change my prescription entirely if I didn’t say yes. No weening off meds, just straight on to a new combination of pills for 4 weeks at a time. This messed with me and my life a lot at the time as I was 11-12. I became scared to tell him the truth and scared of med changes because of the physical and emotional side effects. This guy could not care less about your well-being, your money is all he is there for.

I went to this guy for about a year. He would be my last choice for a psychiatric provider. Towards the end he started screwing around with the meds I was stable on and even worse he started being a no show. Suddenly, he was out of town for weeks at a time. My appointments were constantly rescheduled. He did hire a nurse practitioner who scoffed at the diagnosis I have had for 30 years within minutes of meeting me. That was it for me. I found a new provider. I have a career and do not have time for that nonsense. I feel sorry for people who are stuck with this provider due to insurance issues.

Dr Iqbal is good at what he does, but he does not spend enough time with his patients. He sees 6-8 patients per hour, that's 7.5 a 10 minutes to follow up with a patient. His new patients visits are 20-30 minutes. He cares more about how much money is coming in the door rather than the quality of time with his patients. He is a very hard man to work for, he does not like to take blaim when he makes a mistake, he puts blaim on his secretary, which is underpaid, no brakes and no time off. He pays under the table for his extra help, which shows untrustworthiness. Overall, he is not worth your time or money, in fact, his lack of time and background info of his patients is a serious health risk.

I just wish he had more time to doend. He is nice though.

Professional attitude, comfortable office, extended hours for patients. I'm unaware of typical treatment expectations, as it was my first time seeing a psychiatrist. Overall a good experience.

This doctor is very rude. I called to speak to him about my child's diagnosis and he hung up on me.
