Dr. Mohammad Safaraz Ali Khan, MD

Dr Kahn is very knowledgeable and understanding. He was a practicing internal medicine doctor and is able to access the impact of various medicines on the health of your body. He keeps abreast of new treatments and drugs and will give you alternatives to you health care. Highly recommend.

The worst psychiatrist I have come across in my life. Obviously believes that woman don’t hold any sort of intellectual capacity whatsoever. Will ask you how you’re feeling without any compassion or empathy in his voice. Plain rude and couldn’t care less if you’re suffering and your mental health is deteriorating. Only cares about getting in and out and that is all. Will stuff medication down your throat instead of listening to what you’re saying and talking to you. Would NEVER recommend to anybody.

Having seen over ten psychiatrists (had rotating Drs in CA), he is one of the worst. Luckily I started seeing him when I was stable and have not had any problems with my meds. I go in he asks if I'm feeling good, I say yes, he asks if I'd like to change my meds (if I'm feeling good why would I change them), suggests other meds, I tell him no, and he writes me a refill. That is the extent of my last three visits! Would not trust him what so ever if I were in fact having a crisis. He spent very little time getting my history on my first visit, which was absurd to me.

Dr Kahn is an exceptionally capable psychiatrist with a very broad background in the medical field. He came highly recommended to me by a therapist whose judgment I deeply respect. Dr Kahn has done an outstanding job in directing my medication, and his personal warmth is something I really value. You can talk with him about any problem you may have; he gives you his full attention and never seems rushed.

One of the worst Doctors. by far. We waited an hour and half past our appointment time for him to spend 10 minutes with us. He doesn't care about your opinion about your child and will not work with you. He thinks he is above women and is rude! Stay clear!

Very experienced, Dr Khan is very good doc.

After a bad reaction to Cymbala's side effects he would not put me on another antidepressant. Instead recommended an ect(formally known as electro shock therapy) Thing is I was pretty much ok before the cymbata. Terrible Psychiatrist! Would not recommend him to anyone.
