Dr. Mohammad Munir, MD

After my most recent appointment with Dr. Munir, when I went to the pharmacy, they told me he hadn't send in my prescriptions. I called the receptionist at his office and they assured me it would be taken care of that day. Well, it wasn't, so I called again the next week, again, I was assured it would be taken car of immediately, but I'm still waiting. I've called five times so far, each time I've been told "we'll get right on it". Its absolutely unprofessional of them to not send in a prescription when they said they would. It's not a new prescription either, it's a refill. Look elsewhere! On the final call, his excuse is that "their fax has been broken". So somehow he didn't notice his prescriptions weren't working for two weeks. How a medical provider can be this incompetent is beyond me.

Great First appointment then was Pond off to a different psychiatrist dr.minure and that’s when everything went wrong.....

This doctor took me off Klonapin in way to fast I had been on it for 15 years and he kept taking me down. He tried one medication used for this and I ended up in the Hospital ER. The ER doctor called him at least a half a dozen times to no avail. He called in a couple of scripts, one the pharmacist highly recommended not taking, said it was not appropriate for what he wanted to use it for. Last one he called in they refused to give me unless he called, which of course he never did. The pharmacist said there were to many warnings on the script. So I am deathly ill waiting for a bed in detox. No doctor should ever be allowed to detox anyone off a long term prescription user of Benzos. Initially he presents as a caring doctor, well he sure didn't care to much about how sick I was getting. He told me to go to my primary care doctor maybe something was wrong with me, well she did all kinds of blood work a cat scan of my stomache all test were neg. I was in withdrawals. He doesn't… listen , nor truly care! Find another doctor!

I was left without medication for days and the emergency number given to me didn’t work.

Similar to other comments it is very difficult to get your prescription filled.

Called to get appointment.. no answer just leave your name and number will get back to you. When they called, could not understand them, she was polite, but could not get name, ins. # and info correct. After 1/2 hour finally I thought was getting to when they could schedule me apt. NOT!! Some one from the office will call you back. What!! I thought this was the office. 3rd party takes your info down.. the next day, someone called, got my name wrong, and had very heavy accent said to call for appt. Nope, bad vibes and after seeing other reviews, I opted to go somewhere else.

Would wait close to an hour (if not even more) every time I had an appointment. Couldn’t leave because I obviously needed my medication. No apology for being late and when I spoke up about it he told me to ‘see someone else.’ Rushes you in and out of appointment. Very uncomfortable, would not recommend to anyone!

Issues every month with filling any prescriptions that need a prior authorization. When calling the office you get a third party and an answering machine. Occasionally someone actually answers. I’m told that someone will call me back and no one does. Their customer service and time management is the worst I have ever experienced. What irks me the most is I have no way of contacting my physiatrist by phone due to the fact that it’s third parties. If I had another option for a physiatrist i would have already jumped on that.

Was comfortable with initial visit and diagnosis, and subsequent one. Since then, I have been UNABLE to get the prescription I should take refilled. I have followed up with the pharmacy, Dr, Dr's staff, and my Insurance company - who explained the problem to me. I put it in writing, to avoid ANY mistake, and brought it to the Drs office. They assured me they did as the sheet instructed. Still NO prescription. I called the Ins. Co again today, and asked THEM to fax over to the doctor's office, the correct form and whatever else was necessary to get my prescription filled! If this doesn't work, I will have no choice but to find another doctor. What good is at the correct diagnosis if you can't get the prescription? It's been over three weeks. It's inexcusable.
