Dr Mohammad Z Nawaz was to schedule a procedure and failed to follow through with the procedure.

I visited Dr Nawaz multiple times in 2016 and he did multiple test on me. Going regularly I assume every procedure and test he did is in network procedure. I have very good coverage from BCBS and very less deductible But after two years I got a bill for $3255 from a lab after 2 years and the reason given to me that lab is out of network. And that lab work was done in his office, on his reference and he was present. Now he is saying that he didn't know that lab was out of network and he was doing a favor to me to bring some lab in his office. I have to work with lab to settle it. How can I trust his story that being a cardiologist he is allowing some lab to do lab work in his lab which don't take BCBS insurance? No one pick phone in his office, you need to leave voicemail and some office assistant will call you at their convenient. I am not going back to him and neither advice anyone to go to him.

Without Dr. Nawaz persistence, I probably would have been sent home. I had arrived at the ER around midnight. I spoke with the nurse and told her I believe I am having a heart attack. ER responded immediately with appropriate care. I then was put in an exam room where I was monitored. No signs of problems. Several MDs reviewed and check monitoring, blood test, and I had no more pain. Dr Nawaz came by to take a look (3am). His manner was very comforting, but his skepticism was strong. He insisted that I spend that day in ICU in case something catastrophic occurred. Another Blood test was given around 6am. Reading came in with the enzyme that identifies a heart attack. I was immediately taken to the ICU, and was treated for a CABGD. Thanks to Dr Nawaz's persistence I am alive today. Thank you Dr Nawaz!

I was blessed to have Dr. Nawaz diagnose and treat my CAD this past Friday 10/19/12. He was without a doubt the most caring Doctor I have ever met. He knew I did not have insurance yet he still gave me the best possible care he could. He is an angel to me and I highly reccomend him to anyone needing a cardiologist STAT!!

Dr. Nawaz is a gentle spirit who truly listens to his patients and their family members. He is kind, thorough, has a great sense of humor, and most importantly, he knows what he is doing. He instills confidence that things are going to be alright - and they are. The time spent in his office waiting to see him is well worth the wait. Everyone receives his full attention and no one feels rushed in and rushed out. He is a wonderful doctor.

Dr. Nawaz exhibits a caring attitude and takes the time to answer questions and explain diagnosis. He is thorough and performs careful follow up. I recommend him highly.

When Dr. Nawaz was associated with Dr. Kahn in McKinney, I did have to wait, sometimes up to an hour and a half but it was so worth it. I knew the reason I was waiting is those before me were getting as much time as they needed and that Dr. Nawaz cared about their total health. My experiences with Dr. Nawaz these past 2 years is nothing but positive. He cares about me, trusts me and listens to me. I really appreciate the care he has given me and would highly recommend him to anyone.
