Dr. Mohammad Imran Qureshi, MD

Dr Qureshi the most forthright physician I have ever dealt with and at 75 years of age there have been many ,He is direct and respectful, no question or request I may have is ever put off or unanswered. I met him when he was called by my Primary Care DR to correct the mistakes of my previous cardiologist. He literally saved my life in that emergency situation. He and his staff are considerate kind and very helpful, I would highly recommend him as he is one of the best in his field.

I have been Dr. Qureshi’s patient for more than a decade. He treats his patients as they are his only patient. He is always extremely concerned about my overall heath and even more concerned about my heart. From my first visit he has talked and treated me not only as a Dr. but also as a close friend. One time he was in California when I had an issue. He called me and offered to cut his trip short and come back to treat me. But I had to convince him that my situation was not that urgent form him to interrupt his trip. I had a choice for another good cardiologist to perform the procedure, but I chose to wait for him to come back. Because I think he is exceptionally knowledgeable and he is the best Dr. I first trust is in God. And I trust him after God. I know when he suggest a procedure or medication, it is only for my wellbeing. Throughout the years due to my genetic issues and other issues, my heart problems has become chronic. I can see on his face how hard he is thinking… about what else he can do for me. He has done everything that a great cardiologist would do for his patient. But be wants to do more. And he does more. By next visit, he has some other suggestion; either an extremely new medication or procedure. I would not hesitate to recommend him. In fact, I have recommended him to my family and friends.

I went to see Dr. Qureshi and had procedure done to check to see what was wrong with my heart. He immediately told me that I needed bypass surgery ASAP. Made it sound like life and death if I didn't get it done that day. Mind you, I was coming off the sedation and he only showed me three pictures of why I needed it. I went to get a second opinion and the cardiologist at U of M hospital told me that it could be fixed with just a stent and I had no reason to get a bypass. I have really great insurance and I just feel like he wanted to bill my insurance knowing he'd get paid. Terrible!! Plus, while I was recovering, which took forever, the nurses he had were clueless on what was going on with me and had no idea why I was there. If he tells you that you need immediate surgery, please, before you let him open you up and mess with your heart, get a second opinion. Remember, this is your life and your heart we're talking about..

I have the upmost respect for Dr Qureshi. He is such a fantastic doctor with a great bed side manner. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone with a heart condition. He is very much up on treatment and takes care of his patients. HIs nurse is to be commend too.. He is not in any rush in the office to get you out of there and answers any questions fully. I can`t say enough good things about him..A EXCELLANT doctor.
