Dr. Mohammad Javed Tariq, MD

I went to him 2 times and had a telehealth appt with him a third time. The first time he listened and was patient. The second time he tried to upsell me on something I didn't need and the third time he was plain rude and disrespectful. He is much nicer in person that on telehealth. Regardless, I am never going to go back to him.

My wife has degenerative disc disease causing 3 neck surgeries in 15 years so we have seen several pain management doctors. We found Dr Tariq 8 years ago after her 2nd surgery made her pain even worse he began to successfully treat her with medication and some injections but over time the upper neck discs worsened and Dr Tariq "hand walked" her thru another moderately successful surgery. Couple years went by and she was in pain again but did not want to go thru another surgery so he suggested a morphine pump and once again walked her thru the process and she lives very well .. Then last year I ruptured a disc in my lower back could not set up straight or drive. We knew who to see and it took two injections and some exercises but we avoided surgery and I am cured with zero pain for last 9 months. He is knowledgable, efficient, confident and does not "push" his procedures or other surgeries. I read some of these reviews and I wonder what happened but we did not expect a doctor to… follow up with us we follow up with doctors. We know that employees sometimes make a mistake. After our 2nd appointment my wife said "it was good to finally find a doctor who cared" .. We would highly recommend if you want to be fixed if you just want meds maybe someone else is for you ..

You cannot get care in an emergency

Dr. Tariq is very kind and does everything he can to help alleviate pain. He has helped me tremendously. I had injections in my back from another physician, but they did not work. Dr. Tariq does the injections differently, and they work.

HE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HIS PATIENT. NEVER ONCE DID HE ASK ABOUT MY PAIN AND HOW I DEAL WITH IT ON A DAILY BASIC. HE REDUCE MY PAIN MED BEFORE FIXING THE PROBLEM, WHICH I SUFFER MORE PAIN THEN NEEDED. MY WIFE TOOK OUR DOG TO GET FIX THE CALL TWICE TO CHECK ON THE DOG. NO ONE AT THIS OFFICE BOTHER TO CALL OR CHECK UP ON ME AFTER THE REDUCE MY PAIN MED. SHOW HOW MUCH THEY CARE.

This office is crap. Nothing is ever organized. They are always missing something. Amber & Michelle never return your call, especially Amber. Only way she'll return your phone call is if you complain directly to Dr. Tariq (you'll get lucky if she returns your call even after you complain) I always have a problem with getting medication refills. Like I said CRAP. Find yourself a new pain management Dr. this one isn't worth it.

Excellent care provider. Skilled, compassionate and a good listener.

Dr. Tariq is the WORST Dr. that you will ever meet! He doesn't listen to his patients, he disrespects his office staff in front of the patient. He answers his phone and walks out of the room (very disrespectful in my opinion). All he cares about is himself and how he's going to make money out of his patients. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DR TO MY WORSE ENEMY.

We've been seeing Dr Tariq for around 10 Years.. I truly don't know where I /we would be if it wasn't for him!! I've had my pain pump for over 8 years and its given me a quality of life that is awesome... He alwasys has great advised and is always very understanding!!
