This Doctor fought with my sister and turned my healthcare into an ego trip. My blood cultures showed an infection was present within my body and instead of focusing on the problem he focused on the symptoms of high blood pressure and did not try to find the cause. He bet my sister he could get my blood pressure down. We asked for a second opinion and we were quietly denied. He had one blood pressure test taken in the morning just after I woke up. This one result was 140/92 after days of 166/122 or higher and he claimed he fixed it and sent me home. Just before release my blood pressure was again approaching stroke level 178/121 and would not admit my sister was right that he was ignoring the infection. Now I'm home struggling intensely trying to get through this infection that no one identified. I'm exhausted and extremely disappointed in my care and there is nothing I can do about it. A doctor should be open, honest, caring and do no harm but now I'm scared to even go to bed because… I still don't know what's wrong and I can't find help.
