Dr. Mohammed Attar, MD

I’ve been seeing this phenomenal cardiologist since the 90’s. He is extremely caring and knows his stuff. Your well being is his only concern. He is a doctor that will show up to monitor you if you’re admitted to the hospital, based on your condition and symptoms. I always stay in the Methodist Hospital group to ensure if something happens, I have access to him. I cannot imagine him ever being rude or inconsiderate to anyone.

After my open heart surgery, he explained everything step by step so I could travel back home. When I have doubts, I text him and he answers back almost immediately!

I have never felt so safe and secure as I do with Dr. Attar. I have lived the last 20 plus years with heart palpitations (SVT, PVC, PAC). After doing a genetic test with my PCP I found out I have a high risk of developing cardio vascular disease. I made an appointment with Dr. Attar and as always he made me feel better. He's very personable, thorough, and I have more faith in this Dr. than any other that I have seen. I sometimes get high anxiety over my irregular beats. One trip to see him and I feel so much better. If I call the office with a question, the doctor himself actually calls back. That right there says enough. He wants first hand information from his patients. Much love to this Doctor! A true gem.

I went to Dr.Attar’s office for a cardiac stress test. Because if my age another Dr. had requested that I have it prior to surgery. I have known him through my internist and other friends that have heart problems for over 20 years. Everyone in his office is just as great as he is. He comes highly recommended by me and others

Dr Mohammed Attar is the most professional, caring, thorough diagnostic cardiologist. Dr Attar defines the word physician. He has taken care of my entire family for years. There is no finer doctor.

I cried after leaving his office. I am shocked by Attar's behavior. Maybe it's because I am a women but this man humiliated & degraded me, all due to me having several mental disorders. He said, "You seem like a nice person to have all these mental problems, I am sure there is another side to you but you have lots of meds". He tried to play psychiatrist with me then when it came to the cardio he ask many questions back to back & he answered NO to them, never giving me a chance to answer. I went to him for a second opinion. All I received was you ok after answering his own questions. It is not funny to make fun of people with mental disorders, he needs to educate himself and realize it could happen to him or anyone in his family!

Dr Attar is the best ever! Very compassionate and caring! Spends quality time with you, easy to talk too, answers all your questions! Doesn't stop until he gets to the bottom of your problem! Don't know what I will do when he retires! On a 1-10, he's a 100.. Excellent Doctor!
