Dr. Mohammed Abdelritha Mahmood Saadi, MD

In Feb, 2025 my primary Lum sent a referral and I contacted Dr. Mohammed a few days later and the front desk young lady found my referral then she said you have seen a Gastroenterology Dr. before named Carlton Thomas and I said yes, he performed the colonoscopy on me back in 2021. I have never seen an Gastroenterologists for gastro reflex or h-pylori ever in my life. So the front desk young lady scheduled my appointment for April 24, 2025 at 3pm. I went to my appointment today on time and I was checked in and put in the Dr's waiting room. 12 minutes later the young lady that put me in the room came back in and said they couldn't find my referral and they didn't know why I was there. I explained to her the only way I got this appointment was through your office who can't give me an appointment without an referral. I told her that makes no sense, but she paid it no mind. I explained to her the test my primary care provider did and found that I had H- Pylori and she sent me to see the Dr.… Mohammed who is a Gastroenterologists specialist. She said she tried to call Family Health Center, but didn't get anyone. I never saw the doctor as she rushed me out of the room and then office. She suggested I go to a infectious disease Dr., I so I asked her if their office can refer me to who she is suggesting and she said no because my insurance wouldn't pay for it. I know that is not true either because a doctor that a patient has been referred to can refer you to another Dr. /Specialist. It's done all the time. I walked out of the office and went and sat on a bench by the Doctors office out front and called Family Health Center Referrals Dept. They confirmed when they sent the referral and that they did receive information back that Dr. Mohammed Saadi office did receive it. So the Family Health Center agent called Dr. Mohammed Saadi office and got put on hold for a long time and I could see the front desk lady and there was nobody in the office for her to put him on hold that long. She finally came back and told him that I should be sent to Dr. Carl Thomas because he diagnosed me with H-Pylori. He went over with her when the referral was sent and also asked her if they got no referral then how did her office schedule me, because it made no sense to him either. I went back inside of Dr. Mohammed Saadi office and before I did I saw Dr. Mohammed Saadi leaving and I asked him what happened to my appointment and he told me to talk to the front desk young lady. I had the Family Health Center on speaker because we wanted to make sure we were all on the same page. She just assumed without confirming that I saw Dr. Thomas for gastro reflex and h-pylori. That made no sense because it was determined that I only saw Dr. Thomas for an colonoscopy and nothing else when their office scheduled the appointment for me. There was no reason for them to turn me away at all.

I had couple of procedures done by him, he knows how to treat his patients well. No matter how serious the problem is, his positive approach towards it makes you feel nothing but positive. I will recommend him to anyone with GI issues.

Dr. Saadi is a talented gastrointestinal doctor. He listen to me in clinic very carefully and respond to my questions. He did my colonoscopy and endoscopy and did my husband's colonoscopy. I will recommend him to my family and friends.
