Dr. Mohan Jacob, MD

My experience with Dr. Jacob was outstanding. Dr. Jacobs was a voice of experience, reason, & calm. He teamed me up with Cardiothoracic Surgeon - Dr. Ibrahim Yazji. I was very impressed with his communication, the quick analysis of my heart issue, & a determination of what procedures were needed. Dr. Jacobs is my cardiologist, &, I will look forward to the future under his care.

Dr. Mohan Jacob said that I had a hole in my heart and was pressuring me to have a cardiac catheterization as soon as possible. The more he pressed for it, the more I became suspicious. I went to a top cardiologist in the medical center & he said no way did I have a hole in my heart. I never went back to Dr. Mohan Jacob, I don’t trust him.

Dr. Jacob is a competent cardiologist with absolutely NO ability to listen to and communicate with his patients. He fails to explain your condition to you and does not take time to listen to your complaints and concerns. In my case, he erroneously attributed most of my symptoms to the wrong problem.

Wonderful doc and staff !! I would highly recommend Dr Jacob to anyone..

Spends no time with the patient before or after. Very perfunctory. Does not even remotely attempt to get to root cause nor explain what he is seeing. Has not a clue nor interest in reviewing lifestyle and habits. Very very eager to dispense medication, after review with another doctor, the med did not make sense for condition. Staff does not respond well either. Avoid, there are much better options out there.

Dr Jacob is very thorough and attentive. Willingly answers questions and concerns. Dr Jacob's staff is at the very least helpful, pleasant and cheerful.

This is a quack, not a doctor. Avoid!!!!

I was diagnosed with Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome 5 years ago, when I was 17. Dr. Jacob was my 3rd Cardiologist and I just love him! The first Cardiologist I saw, came in to a waiting room full of patients 1 1/2 hrs after my appointment time...wearing his golfing clothes and carrying his golf things!!! I DO GIVE HIM PROPS for diagnosing me, but come on! That's why I went elsewhere. The second one said I didn't have any heart problems, I was just overweight and had high cholesterol...I KNOW!! And he said it may be that when he looked at me...before any tests. So, I went elsewhere. Dr Jacob was my 2rd Cardiologist, I told him my experience with the two previous ones. He quietly listened, started over with testing, and diagnosed me again with WPW. He didn't just take any other person's word. He had to see it himself, and that's why I stayed with him and the sweet nurses!!! Especially Leslie and LeAnn. (I don't know of they are still there).
