Dr. Mohana Rao Arla, MD

Dr Arla refuses to refill any prescription without a physical appearance at the office, whether the patient is ambulatory or not. The office refuses to communicate with any pharmacy after the initial prescription; excuse is that pharmacies and their faxes take up too much of office time and he can't afford to pay another person to handle the paperwork. Any questions by the pharmacy go unanswered. Also has a habit of telling every patient how little money he makes from their office visit, and that the patient should be lucky he even sees them. Listening skills are non-existent. I do not recommend.

Got an ultrasound for my gallbladder. They said the results would be in the next day.(They gave me a copy to take to the hospital and they was supposed to call and have me admitted. They never called the hospital) So i made an appointment the nexted day. They said my results wasn't ready. They was supposed to call when they came in. That was three weeks ago. Either they are bad Dr. Or they don't care.

I have been seeing Dr. Arla for the past few years as well as the rest of my family. Dr. Arla is one doctor who takes the time to actually listen and cares about his patients. He is honest and also takes the time to explain things. I trust his care, option and have the upmost respect for him. Thanks Dr. Arla!

Between the staff that doesn't have clear direction on how to handle booking appropriately, the wait time that is ALWAYS worse than the Norton ICC in Shepherdsville, and the providers that don't listen (Dr. Arla will come up with a diagnosis before hearing all symptoms and at times ARGUE with you the symptoms you are having) it's overall a scary doctor's office. They make you make appointments to go over NORMAL results because he wants the copay. If you want your medical records good luck, keep a copy of the record release because sure enough it's going to take 30 days and then you can argue that you have waited that long (they tell you it can take up to 30 days). Without that signed release they very likely have lost your original copy then you're stuck in ANOTHER 30 day loop. It's a nightmare. They will charge for your wellness exam along side a problem visit so you pay your copay for a wellness visit that should be covered @ 100% and not even tell you they are charging your wellness… exam that date of service. I could keep going. Seriously.

The only Dr around who values their patience opinion when decorating their office. Lots of smiles at this place!

If your visit is going to require this office to process paperwork for your employer. Plan on a huge hassle, and having to stay on them to get it done

He is very informative. He takes his time with you. If you need to get in the same day they will get you in. I have never had a bad experience yet.

Horrible office, Rude staff (front desk lady--RUDE), Dr. Arla Sr RUDE and incompetent. All about money there. They overbook, you will be sitting in that nasty waiting room or nasty medical room for hours!! Never recommend this office!!!

Today I saw Jessica. I have been looking for a Nurse Practicioner I would not be so stressed abut and today I found her. Jessica spent time with me and helped calm me down. I will definitely be seeing her again. Good choice Dr Arla. Jessica is a keeper.

This place is a nightmare. The wait time is over an hour. The receptionist is so low class a bar fly behind an office chair. I don't care if that place sucks and she just hates her job. Get another job then. The doctors look at an iPad for symptoms. Really? Just a joke. Done with them after two visits.
