Dr. Mohiba Tareen, MD

My first experience with Dr Tareen was amazing. She is a breathe if fresh air! She is on time, caring and explains what she is doing!

May 10,2022 I starting seeing Dr. Tareen years ago for the Medical Concerns of skin cancer. Back then, the clinic was in a teeny tiny office space and was always packed with patients/clients. Dr. Tareen and her well educated Physician’s Assistants and clinical staff are well versed in identifying all type of skin, hair, nails ailments etc etc and Pros don’t need waste time ‘guessing’ what other providers may have told you. Fast forward to the last few years. Clinic has moved into amazing offices, plenty of room for the newest and exciting equipment. Dr. Tareen has always been like a North Star for our family. She clearly advises what next steps will be, type of follow up if any, and always shows the deepest kindness and respect We LOVE her to the Pluto and back ?? When I see nasty posts by others I feel badly because, ignorance is a character flaw. Nobody in this world works for free and to require a deposit of a new client/patient is not unheard of. Time you may or may not… show up for is irreplaceable once wasted. And WHY BOOK with an acclaimed MD who is tops in her specialty if not to get the BEST advice and care. For those that want to show up and decide THEY will argue with her based on some other Dr’s opinion “GO BACK TO THAT DR.” Dr. Tareen does not need to be bullied or chastised for the way her staff do a triage prior to her entering into exam room It is the sign of a well run clinic. They are all professionals there. To those that are unhappy, I suspect you are unhappy in every facet of your lives. I also suspect you get satisfaction by causing other peoples’ unhappiness” Oh, and just to touch base with REALITY… I wait longer on line at Burger King---- so Waaaaaah if you waited 10 minutes to be seen. SMH AND LOL

Did not take any history majority of the time was spent with her nurse. She was extremely rude and argumentative when concerns were discussed. The worst experience I have ever had with a physician. No concern at all. I’d give her a 0/5 if that was an option.

She is the most unprofessional physician I have ever seen. Had a terrible experience with her. She does not listen nor has the time to listen. She missed my problem, that was diagnosed elsewhere. Truly regret ever making an appointment with her. She does not care. Very surprised by her ratings. I’d give her 0/5.

I am always happy for the great care

Dr. Tareen has been my dermatologist for several years, and she is passionate about caring for her patients and makes you feel like you are important to her. She somehow manages to be super efficient, super supportive, and super knowledgeable all at once. I am prone to skin cancers and she takes no chances with me and has identified many precancerous moles. She has also helped me to quickly resolve some other skin issues. I recommend Dr Tareen without reservation. She is excellent and so is her staff.

It’s a chaotic office. They rarely answer their phones, so leaving a message is the norm. The waiting room is tiny, so patients stand or wait in the hallway. After a procedure, staff neglected to give me after-care instructions. I called three times, leaving messages, and then sent my husband back to the practice to ask for them. I arrived for a scheduled “recheck.” Staff somehow lost my appointment, told me they were too busy to “squeeze me in,” and offered no apology. Giant fail.

Love this clinic! Dr. Tareen always makes me feel like I am her only patient ... So happy I found them!

A very good experience overall. I had a mole I was concerned about and my father has a history of skin cancer and didn't want to take any chances. She agreed that it should come off and after a almost painless removal I was on my way out the door in just around a half hour. The nurse gave me a call a week later and told me that I didn't need come back since they got all the mole out with the removal and thankfully so because it did end up being pre cancerous. Her bedside manner is wonderful and I didn't feel rushed out the door like other clinics I went to. I'll be back in for the recommended annual skin checks and anything else I might need in the future. Bravo!

I went in to see Dr. Tareen for two scaly spots on my arm. She caught a small red spot which I thought was a blemish, on my face. She biopsied it and it turned out to be basal cell skin cancer. Subsequently I had to have a MOHS procedure at her office. She was incredibly kind and compassionate. I had to go to a plastic surgeon the next day and he told me he was very impressed by the way she oriented the area that had to be scraped and that she made it easier for him to do his job. She is excellent and I would HIGHLY recommend her.
