Dr. Mohin A. Bhadkamkar

Mohin A. Bhadkamkar, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained plastic surgeon performing complex reconstructive surgery, including reconstruction of the extremities, head and neck, breast, and trunk, as well as the full spectrum of aesthetic plastic surgery, with a passion for facial aesthetic procedures. 
He’s also an assistant professor in the Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. 
A proud Texas native, Bhadkamkar attended The University of Texas at Austin. He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He did his integrated plastic surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine, where he completed a chief resident rotation in cosmetic surgery at the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute under the direction of Rod Rohrich, MD. He then completed fellowship training in reconstructive microsurgery and complex reconstruction at the University of Pittsburgh Health Science Center, which is …consistently ranked as one of the country’s top plastic surgery training programs. 
Bhadkamkar is board-certified in plastic surgery. He has been recognized by Houstonia Magazine and Texas Monthly Magazine as a “Top Doc” for plastic surgery since 2023. Additionally, he was awarded the Dean’s Teaching Award and Faculty Educator of the Year in 2024. 
Outside work, he’s an avid sports fan and loves cheering on his beloved Texans, Rockets, Longhorns, and Astros. He also enjoys travel, fitness, and viewing wildlife.
