Dr. Mohinder Partap, MD

This provider came in with a diagnosis already in mind and skipped a full, proper evaluation. He used a brief schizophrenia checklist instead of reviewing my full medical history. When my spouse joined, he only asked leading questions to fit his narrative and cut her off when her answers didn’t match. He dismissed my documented PTSD from other doctors and didn’t allow me to clarify my answers. This felt rushed, biased, and unprofessional. Patients deserve a fair, thorough evaluation.

He's terrible. He's ALWAYS late for his 3 min appts. God forbid if you have ANY problems with your prescription or anything else. You'll never reach him until your next appointment. Run away FAST

Partap discontinued meds I had been on 41 years, despite the fact that I was sent to him to maintain them, because my primary doctor was uncomfortable prescribing medication for anxiety, panic/manic episodes. I fired him though he maintains he dismissed me,because I wouldn't sign that I agreed w his diagnosis of psychosis. He even wanted to put me on more pills. Upon discharge from one of his his 10 min monthly visits he wrote me 3 months of the 3 meds he gave me,On the 2ND month he stopped the 2 remaining refills,to a benzo I've been on 41 years without having a replacement dr to maintain them. A REAL dr wouldn't have done that knowing death could occur. Send him back to his own country where degrees obviously come out of a crackerJack box strongly Dont reccomend Partap He told me to "shut up" on several occasions and threatened to put me out of his office and talk to my husband,on MY INS $$ ITS ALL ABOUT THE $$

Doctor Partap misdiagnosed me with schizophrenia for 3 years putting me on heavy phsych drugs and I went in patient for 3 weeks and saw a Doctor who diangnosed me with PTSD and anxiety and am doing a lot better and when I went back to see Doctor Partap he said we were done and to leave . When a Doctor spends 7 to 10 minutes with you a month he is not treating you he is collecting medicade payment

Dr Partap does not care about his patients, he just writes you a prescription, yells at you for taking too many prescription, told me to take my prescription and go that, then proceeded to have his nurse tell me that he will no longer see me. This was on the first visit. He should not be allowed to write prescriptions for anyone.

This place does not care about the status of their patients. It is all about money, what kind of pill can they put you on, let's confuse you with other patients, and forget your appointment all together. The staff is not friendly. The office manager is rude and i dont think she understands that people who come to this place suffer from mental illness. I asked about the DNA swab test and overheard her talking to a co worker that people just want that done so their dosages can be raised. Not knowing i could i hear i asked to see her. Quickly she changed her story to that the DNA swab test is just expensive, a lot of insurances doesn't cover it, and it doesn't always give accurate results. If I want more knowledge on something that is provided by some of your doctors, then give me information instead of rude judgement that I'm some kind of druggie. I've tried multiple antidepressants and the last one changed the person I was and made me suicidal. I wanted help, information, maybe even… other resources offered. Not to feel like a guinea pig who switched meds every so often bc nothing worked. Half the time I feel like my doctor wasn't even concerned or cared, and just asked the same questions. All I can say is that the office manager, don't know her name, has no real concern for the people who come there for help. If you come across Dr. Partap, please for your own sake just don't. I came to find help for anxiety, anger, depression, and other resources. I made it clear in the beginning I had tried antidepressants and wasn't comfortable with them. He made the comment "a pill can cure depression, but you can't take a pill to cure cancer." Feeling quilted into trying a different one, than ones I had tried from previous years, I went with it. The last one I tried almost took my life. I say that bc his comment, knowing I'm mentally ill, stuck with me and I was scared to be honest with him. He's also said other things such as, you can do therapy but its gonna cost you a lot of money and laughed. I put trust into this doctor and almost feel as if I was brain washed. I feel betrayed and as if he was never really concerned about my mental health. Just find a different office all together or even look for other resources such as therapy, something I am currently doing. Comments like that set me back mentally and I am still recovering mentally from the antidepressant that I had a bad reaction to. I feel for anyone who has been mistreated or set back mentally or physically because of this place.

The wait time is excellent, he understands that your time is valuable also. He gets right to the point and answers your questions in a way you can understand completely and leave no doubts.
