Prioritizes md schedule and staff over children. we arrived at our scheduled apt time for an apt for my 3 year old daughter recently diagnosed w celiac. we were turned away because they wanted us there a half hour early for registration. I could go on about the rudeness of the staff but the point is that turning away children for being on time but not early for their apt shows a lack of empathy for what that child is going through. that message comes from the provider down to the staff. there was zero consideration for any pain my 3 year old daughter might be in or any solutions offered to see the doctor at another time. even if we were late (which we weren’t) you don’t punish a child. i’ve never seen a pediatric office run without putting the child first. excepting a child w gi issues to sit for 30 minutes before a scheduled apt bc it is easier for the staff shows a complete lack of awareness of the therapy area. or been spoken to so rudely by the office manager.
