MOHS procedure needed where? On my forehead, right between my eyes. Ok tonight I look like a Romulan, possibly a Klingon from Star Trek. But I am very happy with the procedure that was done today. Dr Mir and his entire staff were not only confident and professional, but personable and very clear with every step, from prep to bandage. Dr Mir reviewed any options and made sure I understood. Very thankful for the care I recieved today.

Dr. Mir performed two Mohs procedures to remove skin cancer from my face. The first result was excellent. It was rather large and his work was beautiful. I do recommend him for simpler surgeries. The second surgery was much more complicated and it should not have been done in a day surgery. The cancer has not returned but the cosmetic result is not wonderful. I wish he would have told me upfront that it was complicated and should be done by a plastic surgeon instead of trying it. I have another issue developing and am looking into a plastic surgeon who does Mohs surgery.

Dr Mir is great, very professional yet personable. His surgical work is excellent. I had basal cell remove from my forehead and barely have a scar.

After expressing concerns that with removal of my cancer the cosmetic repair would be difficult and wondered if a plastic surgeon should be consulted I was reassured that if it was deemed needed that he would have no problem. There were huge complications with the closure and I am left with a devastating cosmetic result. After the complication became horrendously obvious I was told there was no guarantee that anyone else would have gotten a better result. I found him inexperienced, overconfident, and failed to recognize his own complication in a timely manner much less act promptly to minimize it. Stay away if it matters what you look like in the end....

This doctor was rude and impatient and spent less than 5 minutes with me. Also I felt uncomfortable asking him questions. It is hard to get in contact with his med tech for prescriptions. I would not recommend this doctor.......I would prefer someone more experienced

Dr Mir was really easy to relate to, seemed knowledgeable and confident with an eye toward being effective in his treatment. Great experience overall and highly recommend him.
