Dr. Makki is a kind and compassionate psychiatrist.She was always there for me as I needed and returned my calls in a timely manner as I have had problems with this with past doctors. I feel that she listens well and has helped me tremendously. I would be happy to refer her to anyone needing a wonderful top dr. In her field.

I am so amazed at the quality of care and concern that Dr. Makki has given my child. She is a gifted professional with great knowledge and empathy.

My son has been a patient of Dr Makki’s for ~6 years. I have the utmost respect for her bc she has taken the time to get to know my son and they have developed a strong trust... mostly bc she believes in him and it shows. She is extremely knowledgeable about the pharmacology and takes the time to give medicine a chance To work. Unlike previous psychiatrists, she does not make sudden changes and everything is based on sound reasoning. Dr Makki is an outstanding team member... she listens to and respects parent input and interacts well With therapists and neuropsychs. My son’s other service providers (independently sourced) think highly of her.

Dr. Makki is one of a kind in her field. She is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to her patients and their families. Would highly recommend her to friends and family.

My child age 6 is complicated. We saw her at her private clinic in Glenview. She took her time to get to know my child as a whole not just focusing on the problem behaviors. SHe was always on time and got back to us quickly even if it was a wkend. It look couple of different medications but he is doing alot better. I recommend her highly to all parents who are struggling with their children. She is not only an excellent physician but she is a caring person. Thank you Dr. Makki for giving my child back to me.
