Dr Savabi is an excellent physician. She has a soft but firm bedside manner and explains her full care procedures to you. She comes in after the procedure to go over what happened and fields any questions you may have for her. She is unrushed and takes the time to be thorough. I would highly recommend Dr. Savabi to any one seeking a gastroenterologist in the Hendricks County area.

I have been seeing Dr. Savabi for over a year now and I find her to be a kind and thorough doctor. She spends plenty of time with me during my appointments and I think she actually cares for her patients. My only complaint is that her front desk lady is a bit rude and the follow up after blood tests isn't the best.

I was experiencing intense stomach pains. At my first appt., Savabi scheduled several blood tests. I took them and waited. And waited. No one every called me about the results, so I made a follow-up appt. I was kept waiting in a room for 20 minutes. When Savabi finally arrived, she said that the blood results were normal and she didn't know what was wrong with me. She just kept shrugging. When I asked her to explain the blood test results, she looked at me as if I were stupid then retorted, "what's not to understand?" and that she didn't have time to explain it... of course, after making me wait for 20 min., she didn't have TIME for ME. I don't have a medical degree--how am I supposed to understand what was on that blood test? It was just numbers and abbreviations. I told her that I still had sharp pains in my stomach, and she just seemed to ignore me. Savabi told me to call again if I wasn't feeling well, then I was ushered out of the office. Of course, they still took my… money. Even now, I have no idea which blood tests they took. I won't ever return to Dr. Savabi.

dr savabi was very kind and knowledgeable. i would highly recommend her. she took her time with me. was not in a hurry. she knew i was very nervous and was very reassuring. when i went in for my procedure she took the time to expain exactly what was going to be done and how. after the procedure she came back and explained to my husband and i what i needed to do and how i would feel over the next couple of days. then she did something that no other doctor, that i have EVER been to, has ever done before... she phoned me a couple days later to follow up and see how i was feeling. i was very impressed. i would recommend her to anyone and everyone. she will defintely be my doctor for as long as she practices in my area.
