Dr DeShazo is wonderful. She takes her time explaining everything including diagnosis, treatment plans and medications. Never in the last 18 months has she failed to address problems completely and in a manner my wife and I can understand. My wife and I looked at other possibilities in Birmingham and we met with physicians at Emory in Atlanta. Every time we sit down with Dr DeShazo we are thankful she is my physician.

My husband was the patient, but we both loved her! She was the most caring doctor and made sure you understood what she was explaining and wanted to know if you had any questions. A very knowledgeable doctor. We are so glad Dr. Burris recommended her to us! The staff was also very nice?? Highly recommend her!

Dr. DeShazo is very knowledgeable and caring in treating me for the prostrate cancel that I have. She also has a great group of people that work with her. Their experience is far above others that I have seen in the past. Grateful for this group of professionals at UCA.
