She chose colorectal surgery because of mentors in medical school and residency who showed her the great parts of being a colorectal surgeon. She enjoys the diversity and wide variety of cases colorectal surgery has to offer. The most rewarding part of her job is helping people feel comfortable talking about something they are uncomfortable talking about.
