Dr. Molly Suzanne Hawke, MD

I don't think Dr. Hawke knows any empathy for her patients. I went in to see her once because I was looking to change psychiatrists. I poured my heart out to her about everything I was struggling with, including addiction. She sat there stone-faced and silent. When she did speak, it was to discredit or invalidate my feelings and experiences. At the end of the session, she told me she couldn't do anything until I went to rehab. No counseling, no sympathy -- basically treated me like a filthy junkie that was wasting her time. She then forced me to make a follow-up appointment I couldn't opt out of. I left her office in tears.

Dr. Hawke has been amazing to me for the past 3 years. I didn't have much experience following through with medication and identifying symptoms, but Dr. Hawke made me want to follow through. I've gone through a few different medications the past 3 years and Dr. Hawke has always been willing to see me monthly to work out the best course of action for me. She takes time to know you and educate you on options. She's great at her job and highly recommended.

I've seen Dr Hawke for 3 years. She has been cautious with medication dosaging and is willing to educate me about alternatives. The one thing that is difficult about her practice is that I can't talk to her in between appointments when I'm having trouble. I have to go through her assistant. She makes sure I see her often enough and coordinates care with my other providers. I would recommend her to anyone in need.

I have 18 months experience as a patient of Molly Hawke for medication management. She is very knowledgeable about mental health issues and psychiatric medications. She also listens well and educates the patient about mental illness and the various medications during appointments. Anyone would be fortunate to have her as a psychiatrist.

I saw Dr. Hawke for almost a year. In that time, she helped me seek outpatient treatment and literally saved my life. She also let me get kicked out of the practice for accidentally missing one too many appointments, in the middle of switching anti-depressants, the same week I lost my job. I really liked Dr. Hawke and I invested a lot of time in my recovery, and I'm disappointed to know she works at a practice with such potentially harmful policies. I thought you cared.

Terrible bedside manner. Inability to work with patients on treatment plans. Worst doctor experience ever.
