Highly educated but very cold feeling. You feel rushed and like just another patient to her. Not very personal, want you to get in and out.

misdiagnosed and over prescribed, practitioner failed to recognize toxicity of meds and insisted in a threatening, bullying manner that dosages be increased. benzo tolerance withdrawal, followed by a year of withdrawal syndrome and suicidal ideation.

Excellent Doctor that understands the mind and physical body connections. She has helped me manage my recovery now for over 9 years without any need for hospitalization. She is helping treat my physical symptoms that contribute to my major depression.

Dr. Silas knows her medications better than any doctor I've ever seen, and with a disabled child myself, I've seen a lot of doctors. She focuses on 1 thing at a time to help you get emotionally stable and she works with a lot of supplements. She likes the natural stuff. Because I also have a lot of other physical medical conditions, she has recieved those tests and takes the time to go through them. Thankfully, she had noticed something important that was passed up on a test from my specialist. I would recommend Dr. Silas to anyone and have referred family to her.

First time I have gone to a psychiatrist, and first visit, I really liked her. She is very kind and I was delighted that she wasn't pushing me on meds. I like knowing that working on a wellness mental state, is what I was hoping for, and what she will help me attain. Good Doc!!

Incompetent, irresponsible, and lazy. If you weren't depressed, suicidal and anxious before you-- certainly will be after seeing Dr. Silas! This doctor flat out doesn't care... If you need any sort of hospitalization you are completely on your own to figure it out, Dr. Silas is not only clueless, she won't lift a finger to help you out. You are literally on your own to try to figure how to be admitted to a hospital, even if she recommends it. You are better off NOT seeing a doctor at ALL than seeing Dr. Silas!

Never go here. The staff misplaces paper work and insurance info all the time. Dr. Silas has only made my life more stressful. Worst experience with a psychiatrist I've ever had
