Molly Stanek

Molly Stanek is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her bachelor of science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She then went on to receive her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Jane Addams College of Social Work. Prior to starting her own practice, Molly worked as a junior high school social worker.Molly has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. She specializes in utilizing a holistic, strengths-based approach with her clients. Her interests lie in eating disorders, self-injury, depression, anxiety, spirituality, parenting, and women's issues. She is a trauma-informed therapist who specializes in internal family systems, EFT, DBT/mindfulness, as well as cognitive behavioral therapy. Molly believes in the power of our life story and strives to bring out the full potential of each client.Personally, Molly enjoys spending time with her family, running and being outdoors, and practicing …mindfulness in her everyday life.
