Dr. Mona Romezi, MD

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Dr. Romezi. After several months as her patient, she abruptly informed me that she no longer wanted to be my doctor, providing no warning or clear explanation. This unexpected decision left me feeling hurt, unsupported, and without any guidance on how to proceed. A gynecologist should offer care, compassion, and professionalism—qualities that, sadly, were lacking in my interactions with her. I would not recommend her to anyone looking for a supportive and dependable healthcare provider

AWFUL! AWFUL! AWFUL!!!! ---- DO NOT RECOMMEND---- IF THERE WAS A 0 STAR, I WOULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS Series of events: - My first appointment date was miscommunicated / not understood well - I HAD TO SEE THE DOCTOR, so i ended up on the day of appointment only to realize that it was the following week. As a patient, i was indeed disappointed & was trying to get an immediate next available slot. - I was called in by a front desk manager MONICA STEADMAN - who was EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL & RUDE - Monica started blaming me for coming in a week early. In her own words - ' You must have got confused. You should've gotten a text to your mobile but i don't know how that works. YOU ARE PROBABLY LYING about the appointment date' - Monica was not empathetic or dint try to be apologetic for the confusion nor did she try to understand the scenario. - Instead of solving the issue, she started gaslighting me by being super rude and pushed me to a point where i had to walk out of the clinic in… distress. A WEEK LATER - I did not receive a call or an email addressing the whole situation - Yet i called back in a hope to meet with Dr. MONA RAMEZI for the second time. - MONICA comes on the phone line & tells me 'Looks like we are not the right hospital for you & based on how it all went, we do not want to take you in as a patient' with absolutely no iota of empathy. THE AUDACITY!!!!!! TLDR: - Basically they screwed me over twice & being in a service industry i understand that mistakes do happen. Its the staffs attitude that made my experience the worst 0 PROFESSIONALISM 0 EMPATHY TOWARDS PATITENS / HUMAN BEINGS 0 ETTITQUES 0 INETPERSONAL SKILLS.

Mona Romezi is simply looking for easy targets to profit from. She is clueless when it comes to Womens health problems. She did not do her job whatsoever in getting to the root of the problem during my visit with her. She made up an assumption of what my pain "could" be due to without performing any actual examination. I was rushed to checkout without a single test performed that I was expecting upon arrival. A REAL FRAUD OBGYN. STAY CLEAR YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.

RUN AWAY FAR AND FAST. Quite possibly the worst experience I've ever had with a physician's office. A referral to this office was processed by my insurance provider, accepted by Dr. Romezi's office and an appointment was made. I received a rude telephone call from this office the day prior to my appointment informing me that their practice does not accept my insurance BCBS-TX and that Dr. Romezi was unable to see me (unless of course I pay out-of-pocket) I am sure. After many, many hours of dealing with this, I learned that the office does indeed accept my insurance. Dr. Romezi apparently is an OB-GYN on staff at Ben Taub as well. Interesting, as Ben Taub is approximately 30 miles from this location. I am under the impression that Dr Romezi: A) does not want to see gyn patients delivering babies is probably more fun and lucrative, and B) Is spread too thin to be a good physician and C) Hires really lousy office staff.

I was initially referred to Dr. Romezi by my PCP who highly recommend her and a coworker who also sees her. She has since delivered two of my children and I just can't say enough nice things about her. She's so calm and personable. You feel like a friend is delivering your baby. Such amazing birth experiences with both. My family and friends who have come with me to my appointments are always so impressed with her and one by one have also started seeing her as well.

Dr. romezi is could not be better ,as soon as she walked in the room she made me feel welcome and comfortable. She is sooo sweet and dedicated . She helped me pick the best form of birth control and answered all my questions. Seriously I walked out more than satisfied. This was my first time at a Gyn..She knows what she is doing and makes the patient the priority and not the money. I don’t understand all the negative comments. The only thing that was not grest was the waiting time. I will be coming back with Dr. Romezi

I came to Dr. Romezi for a second opinion. My last doctor kept in changing which side my large ctst was coming from and wanted to hurry up and do surgery. Came to Dr.Romezi for a second opinion. She repeated my Ultrasound and got an MRI. She got me into surgery quickly and did such a wonderful job. I could not be happier to have changed surgeons. Office got me in real quick too.

Dr. Romezi has terrible bedside manners. Her office called a first time pregnant lady 8 weeks before due date and said she couldn't see her anymore because she did not feel that they were a good fit. What kind of doctor abandons a patient 2 months before their due date and gives no reason or solution? A doctor that does not live up to their medical oath. The office also said the other doctors in the same practice could not see the patient either because it was against their policy.

I just delivered my first child and the experience with Dr. Romezi was wonderful form the beginning to the end! I am so excited to have found her and look forward to delivering my second child with her as well.

I saw Dr. Romezi today for the first time. I am so excited to have found such an amazing Doctor that will be with me throughout my first pregnancy. She and her entire staff were so welcoming!
