Dr. Stone's path to surgery started in engineering. Before dental school she earned a degree in biomedical engineering, then her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, followed by a full residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Fort Lauderdale across three Level 1 trauma centers. She is an attending surgeon at Baylor and Methodist, and implant surgery is the heart of her practice. What truly sets her apart is how she sees. Where many surgeons focus only on whether an implant will hold, Dr. Stone reads the whole face: proportion, balance, the line of the jaw, the way a smile sits on a person. She designs each result the way a facial surgeon would, considering not just function today, but how it will look, feel, and age over the years that follow.

I received a procedure with Dr Mona Stone and it has been a very traumatic experience. She is very unprofessional, she literally spent the whole procedure talking about other employees. She cursed during the procedure the conversation she was having with her assistant could have been done behind closed doors. I have never really minded going to the dentist but next time I will ask who is the Dr. and do some research. I’m sorry Dr. Mona Stone but you really made me feel uncomfortable I’m not sure if you were having a bad day but please be mindful of your patients.

Unfortunately my dental treatment was extremely painful. I felt no compassion from her.

Completed jaw surgery with this dr for a broken bone... she did not align my jaw properly during the surgery and now need corrective surgery. Wasn’t done correctly.
