Amazing! He is now the family doctor, may I say!

This doctor was assigned to my daughter as her hospitalist while in patient at Immanuel. When her condition worsened overnight the nurse tried to get ahold of him. It took the charge nurse calling his personal cell to get him up to see us, 6 hours after the initial attempt. While talking to him it became apparent he hadn't reviewed her chart recently. He wasn't aware of when her last blood draw had been or what the abnormal values were. I suggested more bloodwork might be necessary, he initially disagreed but then complied to satisfy me. The nurse was calling me 30 minutes later to report critically high liver enzymes and a consult with a GI specialist. When he came to see us the last time he did apologize but then got my daughter's age wrong. I feel you need to have complete confidence in your doctor and that was not at all the case for us. In the future if I were assigned this doctor I would immediately request someone else. I've seen many doctors over the years and this is the… first time I found it necessary to write a review on one.

Amazing man! He made sure that I was comfortable at the hospital and gave genuine attention!

After having back surgery, and getting MRSA from this... this physician on the floor sent me home with the drug Zyvox - one of the most powerful oral antibiotics. Having been in the hospital for days, and receiving all of my daily medications, as well as all of them being fully charted, he prescribed this to me, knowing I took Lexapro for PTSD symptoms. 3 days later, I am in the ER on the urgency of a pharmacist whom my husband had called to find out why I was almost in seizures and freaking out, with 104 temp, bp thru the roof, pulse close to 150, and crawling out of my skin. It had given me Serotonin Toxicity - people die from this. I would never trust this doctor. He never apologized or acknowledged his MAJOR MEDICAL ERROR. I will forever have side effects from this as it screws up your serotonin transmission and receptor sites. He never acknowledged it, even when we called him about it. I would not trust this doctor to take care of my pet ant. He was nice though, that's all I can… say. At least I would have seen a smile while I died. :(
