Dr. Monelle Guylaine Bisson, MD

Dr Bisson was the dr on call at the hospital I delivered at. She delivered my baby. She was cold, rude, and made me feel very discouraged during my delivery because she would come in the room and comment only on the things I was doing wrong to push. Never once did she offer advice. She seemed irritated to be working with me and seemed like she was frustrated with how long my delivery was taking. After 4 hours of pushing she gave me an episiotomy without consent. This was my first delivery and quite frankly might be my last due to the traumatizing experience I had with Dr. Bisson. If you are the unlucky one and get her as your delivery doctor I highly recommend advocating for yourself and request a different doctor.

Dr. Bisson delivered my daughter 19 years ago at Hale Hospital in Haverhill but I did not have the ability to give her a review then. I just told the story of how I was told to shut up by the doctor while I was in acute labor and in real pain to another person and thought I should really speak up. It should have been a lovely delivery, no complications, beautiful baby, but the doctor was rude and impatient. She was on call for my regular doctor and I never would have purposely chosen her. Still scarred after all this time.

When I visited Dr. Bisson I was in pain and discomfort. Being a cancer still surviving made me very worry. I found her to be a good listener, direct and focus to my possible condition. Although I just had an ultrasound from a local hospital, she took the time to redo the test to verify what was the problem showing . I'm greatful for her decision as that action helped her to identify how to solve and to give me the best treatment to my condition. I had suffered for so many months in pain and getting no where to alivate the pain until I found this very smart gynecologist. Today I'm doing well. I was impressed by her service, charisma and sense of care during my visit. She is direct and right to the point but never rude and I have no problem with this. I'm glad she is my Doctor!

I have seen Dr Bission for a few years now and she is great. She has given the best care to me. My sister goes to her as well. No complants here. The best in Merrimack and Nashua.

I visited Dr. Bisson when I was having trouble getting pregnant. She ordered a semen analysis for my husband, and put me on clomid to try to force ovulation. When my husband's test results came back, she said they were fine. After a year went by, I decided to see a specialist. When I picked up my file to take with me, I saw that the test results were NOT "fine" and that we had basically wasted a year with me on a medication that couldn't possibly help. Her bedside manner was atrocious- she just doesn't listen. It always seemed like she had something more important to do.

I had Dr. Bisson for my prenatal care in 2006 and she was beyond unpleasant, lazy and provided questionable care. I had a medical condition that went undiagnosed and then was made worse after an episiotomy that was done poorly, and upon stating I had discomfort didn't even check me at my 6 week appt. Not sure why they have a 6 week post natal visit if they're not going to check you but give you the okay to have intercourse even after explaining things don't feel right. Do not seek OB care from this doctor--the best advice to any expectant mother. She was also rude during child birth to me and my family.
