Dr. Mones Takriti, MD

I have been in pain for several months and was referred here. I figured I was finally going to get answers. I had to wait two weeks to get in here and I was told in about 10 minutes that my issue was do to a kidney stone despite the fact I had other symptoms that were not related to a kidney stone and eating different foods helps or makes my stomach pain better or worse. I was told colonoscopy wasn’t necessary and since it wasn’t I would pay for it myself because I’m under 50 and was told go see the urologist. I went to see the urologist and he said I had already passed the stone and it was not causing the pain and other issues and I needed to go back to the gastrologist. After months of pain it seems like somethings could have been done instead of just handing be off within a few minutes. Now I have to start all over and will have another long wait to get an appointment and still in constant pain. At this point I will be making an appointment with a different doctor.

I would not be here today if not for this amazing dr. He is caring and supportive. When my liver began to fail due to multiple immune diseases he pushed for me to get to the transplant team at Henry Ford Detroit. I’m a two year liver transplant survivor and he is one of my heroes. His office is friendly and wonderful to deal with. I highly recommend.

DR Takriti and the staff in Rochester made me feel comfortable, ,were nice and friendly procedure went good will definitely recommend his practice office.

In addition to being a fine physician Dr. Takriti is an extremely caring and compassionate doctor. I have dealt with my problem since 1969, and with this practice since 1982 so when I received a cancer diagnosis (of a different area) I wanted to check whether I should have my semi-yearly exam in the midst of this. I was able to see Dr. Takriti the next day. He spoke with me for almost 30 minutes, with such positive and encouraging advice. Most importantly he assured me that I would get through this and be okay. He was right. Great doctor..

Eight months of hospital with 80 day's ICU Dr. Takriti was one of two doctor's who cared about me and my outcome. When no treatment was available he kept reading and researching bringing a "factory representative" from Calif. to help guide him in a new procedure. Yes I was willing to try. It didn't work the first time but the second did. This man along with his Christian beliefs, and heart of GOLD is the reason I can still HUG him today. Outstanding after almost 15 year's still with and taking care of my family.
