Dr. Altman was born and raised in Ecuador and received her combined BA/MD degree from Universidad Catolica de Ecuador in Quito, Ecuador. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Mount Auburn Hospital, a Harvard University community hospital in Cambridge, MA. Since 2006 she has been working as a primary care physician at Columbia University's Ambulatory Care Network. Dr. Altman joined Weill Cornell Medicine in May 2011.

Caring and curious doctor that asks good questions to get to root cause. I met her as an alternative to my normal doctor who was unavailable. She addressed my concerns quickly and got me relief. Thank you

I have been seeing Dr. Altman for nearly 10 years . As other reviewers have stated she goes out of her way to make sure all my questions are answered. She works with me to address my health concerns, rather than just telling me what to do. She goes out of her way to care for her patients. She always treat me with care. Every one is friendly and I am very thankful you are in the area to care for me when I need you. Your hours you are available are wonderful.

I had a telemedicine visit with Dr. Altman. She was prompt, addressed my issue quickly and directly and immediately got in touch with my pharmacy to prescribe the medication I needed.

I had a zoom meeting with Dr. Altman , who helped with assessing whether I needed an orthopedist. She was very helpful in making that assessment., and very pleasant to speak with. She actually was waiting for me on zoom, so obviously timeliness was no issue.

I had a zoom visit with Dr. Altman. She was understanding and acted quickly to recommend the right course of treatment. She also responded quickly to a second call. All in all an excellent response and outcome. I would highly recommend her.

I had a zoom appointment....Dr. Altman showed up early which is always a plus for me. She was easy to talk to ....very helpful
