As a native Houstonian, Dr. Monica Jones has lived and worked in the Houston area her whole life. She spent 4 years in College Station at Texas A&M getting her degree in Biomedical Science before coming home to get her doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston. For the past 15 years, Dr. Jones has been practicing family care optometry taking on the challenge of providing for all patients who come in to the office no matter their eye care needs. She recently got married so most of her former patients will know her as Dr. Monica Bertrand. She happily splits her time between work and home spending time with her husband, two daughters and a large extended family. Any free time she spends reading mystery and detective novels or watching action movies.
