Dr. Carter came to Cornerstone internal medicine at westchester in High Point, NC a couple of year's ago. I have been a patient at this office for 3 years. She took over for my previous doctor Richard Orr, who expanded his duties to patients that have a serious health condition. I moved back to High Point, from Greensboro where i had seen Dr. David Massey for around 20 years. He did retire early but i was fortunate to have a doctor for that long, and developed a great physician patient relationship. I made a excellent choice in choosing Cornerstone internal medicine at westchester. I have seen Dr. Carter for 2 years and am very happy with the care she has given me. The whole staff from Kathy at the front desk, the assistant's of Dr. Carter, the entire Lab staff has made me comfortable. Dr. Carter has taken time to talk about my issues and i feel confident about her professionalism. I trust her judgement and look forward to many years of her being my… Physician.

All she wants to do is run tests,flog your insurance and then not follow up or suggest specialists for things she cannot treat. There is a reason she went to a "one Star" medical school! Office staff is rude and unprofessional. I would highly recommend you avoid this doctor at all costs.

I have been a patient of Dr Carter's for 3 years now. I have very rarely disagreed with anything she has advised for me to do. Funny thing is, when I am skeptical, it always ends up she is right. I imagine, if patients present to her office rude or argumentative, it does cause tension. With that being said, she has taken superb care of me! I would, without a doubt, recommend her to my family, friends, and anyone that is looking for a WONDERFUL Doctor, she is a Doctor that knows her stuff. I TOTALLY DISAGREE with the other comments and feel very fortunate to have her to turn to!!Thanks Dr Monica Carter, DO for all you do! Keep up the good work!

As a patient of Dr. Carter for over 2 years, I found her to be rude, did not take enough interest in what I had to say, I am a cancer survivor , she misdiagnosed me on four occasions. Not a Fan, I did change Drs.

Dr. Carter has serious issues about her bedside mannor. I had a minor issue about insomnia. She treated me as a drug seeker, grossly lied about new studies about how ambien is an addictive drug, did not believe my story that I really was having issues with sleep at that time. She was extremely rude, overbearing, and judgemental, as well as not displaying any compassion or even a willingness to listain. I would not recomend her her for vetinary care, let alone for human care.
