Dr. Monica M Chamorro-Ezzie

I must begin by saying that Dr. Chamorro is very skilled and well trained in her craft. We completely trust her in handling all of my husband's complicated dental issues. She has has done an AMAZING job thus far in resolving these dental issues with the utmost care and highest level of professionalism. However, we strongly believe that any business is only as good as the first staff member a client comes in contact with (whether it be on the phone, in person, or via email). With that being said, Rebecca at the front desk was deplorable to work with. She is insensitive, dishonest, and flat out rude! She is responsible for a large miscommunication regarding the billing codes for my husband's treatment plan, and she claimed to have spoken to him prior to the day of his big procedure to explain the problem, but that never actually happened. My husband stood right in front of her and expressed that he had not spoken to her after the first treatment plan was provided, but she proceeded to go… on and on saying "I called you". This was a complete insult to us. In fact, she did send an email with an updated treatment plan and costs, but never left any voicemail or spoke to my husband as she claimed to inform us of the increase in our out of pocket expenses for the procedure, so we did not realize the amount had changed until we showed up on the day of surgery. She then proceeded to say, that she wasn't going to go back and forth with "me" over the issue of whether she called or not. My husband went into surgery very confused and upset, which is unacceptable. We understand that sometimes things happen and miscommunications do arise, but in those situations, its best to be honest so that things can move forward as planned. In our opinion, this is not the type of person that any practice of this great stature and magnitude would want to uphold a reputation that has been created through so much hard work and years of training to create. On a last note, we truly appreciate Liz at the front desk for going above and beyond to help rectify the problem that was created by her colleague and making us feel comfortable enough to proceed with the procedure as planned.

I felt very comfortable during me procedure, and I will definitely recommend this office to others.

She was very through and explained everything she was going to do. If I had to get another root canal I would be back.
