Dr. Monica Carmen Chiang, MD

I have been a patient of doctor Chiang for around 3 years. I will say that she is the best Dr. I have ever had in my life.(I am not young) She is very good at her job, she is very dedicated to you,caring, thorough, punctual,.I can't say enough to describe her. If you ever have the opportunity to be a patient you will know what I am trying to say she is just the BEST!

Dr. Chiang is the best physician that I have ever had the privilege of having as my physician. She is knowledgeable, personable, kind, thorough, and willing to delve into the symptoms that her patient is exhibiting in order to treat the correct diagnosis. She does not treat you for what could be your diagnosis with fancy new medications, she finds the disease that is causing the symptoms and treats her patients accordingly. She spends the time to listen and understand the symptoms, tests, and reaches the diagnosis that is making her patients ill. I feel safe and I know that she will help me return to as healthy a person that I can be. I know she cares that I return to my former healthy state as soon as possible. It is so gratifying to find a physician who truly cares for her patients, not just a nameless number. Baldwin County is truly blessed to have an Endocrinologist of the finest quality, one who is well educated, professional, and willing to spend the time and energy to return… patients to better health. I can't say enough good about Dr. Chiang. She makes you feel like you are a team addressing your problem, not just someone that is taking up space in their exam room for a 2 minute diagnosis and treatment plan. She is the most patient and thorough doctor I have seen in years.

I am a new patient and today was my first follow up appointment. Dr Chaing is very thorough and listens very well to her patients. She has a very positive attitude and great bedside manor. My labs were not good at all, three months later after she made a plan of attack my labs improved drastically. She was extremely excited gave me a high five and said we are going to tweek your medicine a little more and see if we can do even better. I am very impressed and would have to say that if you are a diabetic on the eastern shore she is who you need to be seeing. She is very very knowledgeable and knows what she is doing!!!!!

After your first visit you'll realize how truly exceptional this lady is. And, you will definitely look forward to your next visit. Don't expect to be "on the clock" as is customary because she will spend whatever time is necessary to do her job.

She is extremely caring and genuinely wants her patients to set goals and succeed. I highly recommend her for those with diabetes, thyroid disease, and testosterone needs.
