Dr. Monica Suzana Dasilva, MD

Had breast surgery a year ago by Dr. DaSilva and I am doing very well. She is an awesome doctor. She listens to everything you say, she answers all your questions. She takes her time. You never feel rushed. She is absolutely fantastic.. I am 74 years old and I have to say she is one of the best doctors I have ever, ever had. They are hard to come by, but she’s the best.

LOVE DR MONICA DASILVA, had breast surgery last summer by her and follow up treatments, she is one of the best doctors I have ever been to and I am 73 years old so I have seen a few. I definitely would recommend her if somebody is in need of help, she’s wonderful. She takes her time, explains everything, you never feel rushed. You feel very welcomed to be in her office. Definitely a wonderful doctor.

5 I assume that all surgeons are very smart and technically excellent. Dr. DaSilva is clearly all that. What sets her apart is she truly cares about her patients. She’s the best.

A number of years ago, I was an absolute wreck when I found out that I had breast cancer. As a single mom of very young kids, I just felt so desperate to survive for them. I just couldn't go yet, what would happen to them? When I saw Dr. Da Silva so deeply affected by my desperation to survive, I just knew at that moment that I had the right doctor for me. She really listened, explained everything, and answered all the questions. I never felt rushed. In fact, I can't remember an appointment that took less than 45 minutes. She is so kind, warm, patient and compassionate. And she knows her stuff. A second opinion my family made me get at a big name cancer center confirmed Dr. Da Silva's diagnosis and treatment recommendations. I have moved away from Mass quite some time ago, but whenever I think about those literally the worst days of my life, I am eternally thankful that the Lord sent me to Dr. Da Silva. Thank you, Dr. Da Silva.

Got Dr. deSilva’s name from a relative. Doctors intimidayte me some times but I get comfortable with her Right away. She listened to me without interrupting &explained my options very good. She is humble and nice to. ela fala portugues

I was very nervous and concerned during my first appointment with Dr. DaSilva, but her laid-back and comforting approach helped me feel at ease. She is very unassuming and humble, but I got the sense right away that she knows what she's talking about. It was like talking to an old friend. She laid out my treatment options and took time to explain everything. I spoke to another breast surgeon that my husband went to school with, but she fully agreed with what Dr. DaSilva recommended. All in all, I am glad I chose her.

Actually, this review is LONG overdue. Dr. DaSilva gets 5 stars, but I ought to deduct a star for the rude, inconsiderate staff she had at Truesdale. I agree with these reviews here. Dr. DaSilva is great. She spent a LOT of time with me, listening patiently to my concerns and questions. It was immediately clear to me that she knew what she was talking about. She has a great talent in making her patients comfortable and assured during their most difficult times. Friends and family were adamant that I go to Boston or at least Providence for treatment, but with hindsight I am truly glad that I entrusted my care to Dr. DaSilva.
