Dr. Monica Pai Kandavel, MD

Dr. Kandavel is a highly skilled physician and a caring person, which makes her an amazing pediatrician all around. She has been taking care of both of my children since their birth (3 years and 10 months old), and has never let anything go by the wayside. I can say I am a particular and anxious parent, and she is very receptive and understanding of all of my questions and concerns. She is great at follow through and has never made us feel like our littles weren’t well taken care of. I truly feel like we are a team, and she values our input as parents while still making her professional recommendations clear. She also offers the parent perspective, being a working mom herself, and allows for venting and validation of my feelings as a mom (especially having suffered from PPD with both of my children). Overall, I am very satisfied with our children’s care, trust Dr. Kandavel as a professional, and it remains a solid factor as to why we choose to stay with Kaiser each year.

This is the best pediatric office in the valley. The office staff is great, the nurses are great and all of the dr.'s are great. We usually try to see Dr. Kandavel as she is our primary care dr. and she is one of the finest in the field. We love her.
